2018-2019 Fall Fashion Trends

It’s almost that time of the year again… beautiful autumn leaves, apple picking, and pumpkin spice everything. Fall is the perfect sweater weather, not too hot and not too cold. Let’s take a look at all the fashion trends coming this fall.

Cheetah Print

Say farewell to stripes because it’s time to welcome fierce tiger and leopard print. Bold tiger and cheetah prints are going to be everywhere this fall, especially in bright colors. A leopard or tiger print shirt can be styled with a plain pencil skirt or black jeans and ankle boots. Let’s not forget tiger and leopard print coats that will be giving us life this season.

Plaid and Checks

The plaid look this season is giving us Clueless vibes. Whether it’s a school-girl plaid set, tailored separates, cardigans and checks of all kind, we’re here for it. This trend will awaken your 90’s attitude! Bold, colored plaids are dominating this fall.

Metallic

If you’re looking to shine like a diamond this fall then the metallic trend is for you. Don’t hesitate to think outside the box and try on different looks – rock and roll inspired outfits, disco looks and 1970’s drama queen designs. You can go for a metallic top, statement pleated skirt, or mini skirt, but just remember not to go too overboard.

Statement Coats

Statement coats are in and boring outerwear is out the door. Shorter style coats, black coats, a-line coats will no longer be the center of attention. Bright colored coats, 80’s inspired, oversized coats, faux fur coats, colored fur coats, you name it – is all we are looking forward to.

Pleating and Ruffles

Ruffles and pleating were one of the biggest trends this summer and they will continue to flourish throughout the fall. Nothing screams romance more than plenty of ruffles. Whether it’s as exaggerated as a tiered-sleeve, fluttery-collar, floor-length dress, or as simple as a sweater styled with a frill hem skirt. But, we all know the more ruffles the better. AND if you’re not into ruffles, pleated skirts are the next big thing, trending everywhere. You can go for a midi pleated skirt with one of your favorite t-shirts tucked in and your most fashionable heels.

Contrasting Florals

Summer may be on its way out but florals are here to stay. Mixing and matching similar floral patterns in different color schemes is a fall fashion trend this year.
