A Dress and a Sweater All in One
Sweaters won’t be the only thing keeping you warm this fall/winter season. Sweater dresses will be a huge fashion statement this season. The best part of knit dresses is that you can wear them however you want, with whatever you prefer. Sweater dresses are versatile to say the least. You can style them in the day just as much as you can style them at night. One single sweater dress can transition from day to night depending on your accessories and your choice of shoes. If you don’t own a knit dress, I think it’s time you invest in one.
Day to Night and Night to Day
A bodycon sweater will be a great at transitioning from day to night. If I wanted a day time look I would pair it with some sneakers. Otherwise, I would pair with ankle boots or thigh high boots with statement earrings for a night look.
Dressing Up Casually
Maxi sweater dresses are more of a casual look. You can go for a knitted maxi dress with striped patterns. Pair it with one of your favorite white sneakers and some small gold hoop earrings and you’re good to go!
Get Cozy with Turtlenecks Dresses
Turtleneck sweater dresses are my all time favorite. I would wear it with a pair of my favorite over the knee boots and layer it with trench coat. When I think of turtleneck sweater dresses for the fall/winter season, I usually prefer the chunky ones because they’ll keep you the coziest all season long. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different colors this season, such as burnt orange.
Sweatshirt Dresses are Far from Boring
Sweatshirt dresses have become very trendy and it’s safe to say they won’t be going anywhere just yet. Although, you can very much style this sweater with sneakers for a sporty, casual look. I wouldn’t hesitate with following the trend these days and pairing it with a pair of strappy sandal heels for night out in the city.
Street Style is the Best Style
A slouchy knit sweater dress makes a cool contrast against leather leggings. Dress it up with some heels and add gold accessories (earrings and bracelets), and you’re all set. Pair a grey oversized knit sweater with over the knee boots. Add a cool hat and sunglasses for more of a street style look.
