DIY Halloween Costumes

Rosie the Riveter
Be cultural icon of World War II, Rosie the Riveter. All you need is an all- denim outfit. Pair a red bandana with your all-denim outfit and you’re good to go. You can add some red lipstick and combat boots to your costume to make it look more official.
Damien from Mean Girls
Can anyone else watch Mean Girls over and over again, without getting tired of it? Re-create Damien from Mean Girls, the one who wore a light purple sweatshirt with hood pulled up to hide out among the girls and yelled out “she doesn’t even go here”. Most epic scene ever! Wear a light purple sweatshirt with a sign that says “she doesn’t even go here.”
Deviled Egg
I know it sounds a bit silly, but it’s Halloween and there are no rules to this thing. Wear devil horns with a white shirt that has a yellow circle in the middle. Cut out a circle in the middle of the t-shirt and pin or sew in a piece of yellow fabric or felt. Add a devil tail and red cape to your costume.
Wonder Bread Woman
This is a funny and easy costume. Wear an all white bodysuit or swimsuit decorated with a combination of yellow, blue and red felt circles and a “W” in the middle. Pair the one-piece with tights and knee-high boots for a superhero look.
Selena Quintanilla
Be Mexican/American singer, Selena for Halloween. Wear leather leggings with a statement belt on the waist – paired with a studded bralette. Accessorize with a studded cabby hat and throw on some red lipstick.
Social Media Platform
If you love social media why not be one. Paint or iron the platform’s logo onto a T-shirt and wear a headband with that same logo attached to it. Whether it’s Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram – you call the shots.

This is a very creative costume and all you need is string and tulle. Pick the color you want and you’re get started.

Grab eccentric clothing, hair in your face, and an eyeliner mustache and you’re a music legend for the night. Wear black pants, try to get some lace that pops out – wear it under a blazer.
