On & Off the Runway of Paris Fashion Week
Isn’t it great being on top of fashion trends six months in advance? As always, the runway remained the place to single out the trends for Spring 2020. What better place to show off next year’s trends then in the French capital, known for its glamour… Paris! But the fun and creativity aren’t only seen on the runways; when in Paris, show-goers dress to the nines in honor of attending these amazing fashion shows.
On the Runway
Blooming Bouquet of Flowers
Flowers of all kinds were a big hit in Paris. From prints that resembled floral arrangements to over-the-top 3-D roses and dresses bursting with bouquets of embroidered flowers. It wouldn’t be a fashion show for upcoming Spring trends if there weren’t flowers involved.

The Bare Minimum
As temperature rises, the less clothes we want to wear and the more we want to show off. Spring 2020 will be all about transparency, which means undergarments on display. From a barely there dress to a see through tulle skirt and sheer bra styled with a flowing skirt – giving you the perfect balance between retro and sexy.

Romantic Lace
The runways consisted of embroidery with eyelet and cutwork designs. Feathery dresses and ruffle-collard tunics brought to you by warm weather, of course. Let’s not forgot the traditional trench coat which is a must-have style piece for the Spring. This trend will be giving us modern day bohemian vibes that are anything but antique.

Farewell Skirt, Hello Shorts
Next season is all about shorts, so let’s leave skirts and loose-fitting trousers in the Spring of the past. Mom-approved Bermudas and cheeky hot pants offered in many iterations will be a summertime staple you’ll want to take part in.

Off the Runway
Fashion month isn’t only about the clothes you see on the runway. Some fashion inspiration is out on the streets, worn by models, influencers and bloggers. The most you stand out during fashion week, the better. It’s the perfect chance for editors and influencers to come together and embrace their personal style which included broken-in, comfortable denim jackets, vintage oversize blazers and ease, flowy dresses.
