We all need that one statement jacket that completes our look wherever we go. But most importantly we all need a jacket or some layers to keep us warm during those chilly seasons. There are many different types of jackets that every girl needs in their closet because each type does its own thing in making a difference to our outfit or silhouette. After all is fall really sweater season, or is it all about coats and jacket? We all know the answer to that question, just like I’m sure by now we all know some of the must-haves for this season: teddy coats, camel coats, light coats, black coats and all coats. But there a few very specific jackets that every wardrobe would feel incomplete without.

Trench Coat

A trench coat is a classic piece of clothing every girl should own. A camel colored trench coat is elegant and goes with any outfit. Most trench coats are even waterproof, so that’s a plus for this coat. You can wear them over sweaters and other winter clothing. Leather Jacket

Leather jackets are perfect when wanting to pull off an edgy outfit, yet keep it casual. Black is usually the go-to when it comes to leather jackets but there are other choices, such as red, mustard, brown, and green. You can wear your leather jacket buttoned, zipped, open or belted. Leather jackets are perfect for when you want to keep effortlessly stylish and need a layer.

Denim Jacket

A denim jacket is a must-have in any girl’s closet. Whether it’s a light washed, white, oversized or a cropped style – denim jackets are an everyday essential. They go well with jeans for a denim on denim look, dresses, skirts, activewear – pretty much everything.

Overcoat

An overcoat is a winter version of a trench coat. It’s long, stylish and thick enough to protect you from harsh winters. You can wear a long-class overcoat with leather gloves and boots, or stylish woolen scarf and boots.
