Shoes Are a Girl’s Best Friend

There’s nothing better than getting dressed in the morning and completing your look with a beautiful pair of shoes. Flats, runners, heels, pumps, wedges, boots, booties – the options are endless when it comes to the perfect shoe. A girl never has too many shoes!

Pumps

Pumps are most flexible shoes a woman can own. Depending on your outfit, they can be casual shoes, formal shoes, party wear shoes and date ready shoes. You can wear them however you choose and they look great either way. They also come in every color.

Stilettos

Stilettos are the shoes with the long, thin, high heel and are both a girl’s a best friend and a girl’s worst nightmare. The shoe style can work as formal footwear and a glamorous style shoe all in one. Stilettos are the highest of all heels and can reach up to 8 inches. While these heights can cause problems walking for many, it’s a worthy skill for the lengthening effect they have on one’s legs.

Ankle Strap Heels

This style is a pointed toe with a strap that reaches toward the ankle from the center of the toe to a horizontal strap circling the ankle. The height of the heel can vary, but the one common denominator is the strap that goes around the ankle, making the heels more secure and comfortable to walk in. It’s debatable whether this type of style would be considered formal.

Wedges

This type of shoe is defined by a single piece of material serving as both the sole and the heel. The sole is typically much thicker at the back compared to the front, making it a high heeled shoe style. There are two different types of wedge shoes: wedge heels and wedge sandals. Wedge heels are flush just like a high heel would be, and there is no separation from the heel to the sole. Wedge sandals have a more open, sandal upper.

Chunky Heels

This is any heel with a wider base that is typically a square. They are usually on the short to medium side, and provide more stability than traditional high heels or stilettos.

Mules

Mule heels are any type of heel that comes up high over the top of the foot. You could have an open or closed to mule; the height of the heel can vary.

Sneakers

Whether you’re a sport girl or not every girl must own a pair of sneakers in their wardrobe. Gone are the days where sneakers were worn for sports purposes, now sneakers can be worn with a dress to give it a more casual look.
