2018 Fall Street Style
The one thing I love more than fashion week is seeing what the most prominent street style trends are for the season. I’m sure I’m not the only who looks forward to everything that surrounds the fashion’s bi-annual event almost as much as the runway shows themselves. What better fashion inspiration than the streets of Milan, Paris, London and New York during fashion week. Check out these top street style trends that you’ll want to add to your wardrobe this season.
Make a Statement with Animal Print
It was very well known that animal print would be a trend ever since the runways in February. But, now it’s pretty clear that this trend won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. From leopard prints to cheetah and snakeskin print, which have been making a big appearance. Since two-piece sets have also been a “thing”, I would go for snakeskin print trousers with the matching jacket – paired with black booties.
Blazers Aren’t Just for the Office
No more boring pantsuits, instead pair your blazer with a midi to maxi length dress or skirt instead. I would wear a black midi length dress with a bright orange blazer – paired with booties and a statement belt on my waist to add some details to my outfit.
A Belt & Bag All In One
The belt bag trend is still going strong! Instead of sporty bags being worn as a crossbody, influencers are leaning towards more sophisticated styles. You can opt for a leather or suede belt bag worn over a button-up or blazer – giving your outfit that finishing touch.
Giddy Up with this Shoe Trend
The cowboy boot trend has emerged and it’s here to stay. Pair them denim jeans or opt for a midi length dress. These are the perfect statement boots for any outfit. I would go for a midi length floral dress paired with black cowboy boots and a belt on my waist. Snake print is key to this trend, especially if you want more of a 70’s vibe.
Shining Bright
Highlighter hued neons have become the latest trend. Whether it’s lime green, vibrant purple, electric orange, or hot pink. I would go for a lime green or hot pink bodycon dress or bodysuit. Paired with matching neon strap heels.
Business is Calling
We will be seeing a lot of suiting this season. This is a trend I’m totally here for. Go for a nude suit, or a bright orange suit if you’re feeling frisky. The best part about this trend is you can pair it with heels for a business meeting or sneakers if you’re looking for a more laid-back look.
Get Creative with Sheer
You can bare it all with sheer. But, if you’re not looking to go that route pair your sheer pieces over pants, printed blouses, or cute underwear. I would go for a long sheer top paired with a bralette and denim jeans.
Chunky Sneakers
Bold, colored chunky sneakers are a trend that tests your creativity. You can wear them with your biker shorts, a midi or mini dress , or even a skirt.
